Dr David Wolf – Optometric Physician
Dr. Wolf received his Bachelor of Science from Pacific University in 1981 and his Doctor of Optometry in 1983 from Pacific University College of Optometry. After practicing in Eugene, Oregon for nearly 15 years, Dr. Wolf moved to Lake Oswego in January 1998 when he purchased Lake Oswego Vision Clinic.
Dr. Wolf is involved in professional organizations on both national and local levels. He is involved with the American Optometric Association and the Oregon Optometric Association. He is currently the Oregon state professional representative for VSP vision. He served as a past member of Medicare’s carrier advising committee, and was a former board member of Eye Health Partners, which negotiates and manages contracts for eye health services. Locally, he is a member of Lake Oswego Rotary Club and Lake Oswego Chamber of Commerce.
Dr. Wolf has 30 years of experience working with patients of all ages and visual needs. His patients and his staff love him for being personable and easy to talk to.
With his wife Sara and son Andre he enjoys golf, travel and sports.
Erika Bury, O.D.
Erika Bury, O.D., was born and raised in Maryland. Her undergraduate work was completed at Virginia Polytechnic and State University in 2009 where she earned her Bachelor of Science degrees in biology and nutrition with minors in psychology and chemistry. Erika went on to the New England College of Optometry in Boston, Massachusetts and in 2014 received her doctorate degree in Optometry. She is currently working towards a Masters in Nutrition.
Dr. Bury will be working together with Drs. Palmer and Wolf performing full scope care including vision exams, contact lens fittings including sclera lenses as well as medical care for all patients.
Dr. Bury enjoys traveling, hiking, swimming, competing in triathlons and playing lacrosse. She is also an active member of the Leukemia and Lymphoma society as an ambassador for the Team in Training program.
Kyle Palmer, O.D.
Dr. Palmer was raised in Massachusetts, earned a bachelors of science in environmental science from the University of Vermont, and made the cross country move to Oregon the following year. After working for several years in the health benefits industry he realized his passion for optometry and landed a position as a technician at a local center. He attended Pacific University College of Optometry and graduated with honors while working at a local optometry practice on the weekends. His clinical training included rotations at two busy primary care offices, a full-scope surgical practice, and a VA hospital.
Dr. Palmer will be working together with Drs. Bury and Wolf performing full scope optometric care. He loves meeting new people and patients appreciate his calm demeanor and passion for optimizing their vision and ocular health. He is a member of the American Optometric Association and the Oregon Optometric Physicians Association.
During his free time, Dr. Palmer enjoys hiking, skiing, cycling, and spending time with his wife, Joanna. Most evenings they can be found honing their cooking skills and on the weekends try to get outdoors as much as possible.
Daisy – Office Coordinator / Insurance Specialist
Daisy is the smile of Lake Oswego Vision Clinic! You will find her at the front desk assisting patients with their appointments and answering phone calls. Her Multi-tasking skills and ability to remember names and faces is invaluable. Daisy provides clinical office support to ensure patient satisfaction. Her experience with insurance billing allows her to help you get the most value from your insurance coverage.
When not at the office, Daisy enjoys reading, Karaoke, 80’s trivia, and Krav Maga training. Daisy and husband Shawn are enjoying watching their daughters Ainsley and Reagan grow up.
Michelle – Eyewear Specialist / Optician
Michelle has over 30 years in the industry and over 10 years with LOVC. She has an art for adjusting frames and picking out a set of glasses that look like they were custom made for your face. Michelle is also knowledgeable with insurances and works hard at helping you understand your benefits.
When she isn’t at work she is at the gym, hanging out with family, and fixing up and decorating her homes.
Monica – Office Manager
Monica has been in the eye care industry since 2000. She oversees the day to day office operations and ensures your patient experience is efficient when you visit us. She works directly with patients from pre-testing to checkout at the end of your exam. She works with the contact lens patients as well as special testing as requested by your Doctors. Monica’s caring manner makes every patient feel special and well cared for.
When she not in the office you can find her on the soccer field from playing, coaching, or watching her two girls Ellie and Abbi play. Monica and husband Byron and her girls are enjoying all that Oregon has to offer.
During your exam you will see Erica in the back pre-testing patients. She also works in the contact lens department placing and receiving orders.
When Erica is not at work she is in school studying to become an Optometrist. She just moved here from Hawaii where she worked as an ophthalmologist assistant and became certified. Erica enjoys paddling with the Wasabi Paddling Club, hiking, and all the yummy food Oregon has to offer. Erica has been a great addition to LOVC.
Aubrey has a background in design and customer service and works on our optical department. With her creative eye she can help you pick out a great pair of glasses.
On the weekends Aubrey spends most of her time with her Fiancé Nathan and their dog Miko. Together they enjoy working in the yard and doing home improvement projects. Most of all they love going on trips to hike, camp, and visit the coast.
